Privacy & data protection¶
How GeoStru processes and protects the data you use in the GeoStru NX applications (such as Computo NX) and in GeoStru GeoDropbox, in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Where your data is¶
Your data and the files you upload are hosted on servers located in the European Union and Switzerland — a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection — and are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Who can access it¶
Data is isolated per customer: only you, and the people you authorise, can access your projects, files and estimates. Access is protected by dedicated authentication.
Roles in the processing¶
- The service is provided by ENGSOFT SRL (Str. Sarmisegetuza nr. 17-19, Cluj-Napoca, Romania — CUI 30277934, Nr. Reg. Com. J2012001517126), data controller for account and platform-usage data.
- You remain the data controller of the data you upload (including any data of your own end clients).
- GeoStru acts as data processor (Art. 28 GDPR): it processes that content only on your instructions, to provide the service.
Artificial intelligence¶
The AI features (item extraction, OCR, assistant) process content through a technology provider (Google) on a paid tier. Under the applicable terms, your content is not used to train artificial intelligence models. Some AI processing may take place outside the EU (in the United States) on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights¶
You may exercise your GDPR rights at any time — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — by writing to privacy@geostru.ai.
Providers that support us (sub-processors)¶
To deliver the service we rely on selected providers, each with their own data processing agreements:

Retention and erasure¶
We keep data for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal obligations. You can request erasure of your data at any time.

The lead supervisory authority is ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), the Romanian data protection authority; you may in any case lodge a complaint with your national authority.
